December 28, 2017

We sincerely hope that you had a very Merry Christmas, and are enjoying the final days of 2017.

As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to reflect on all of the accomplishments of the 40 film,(www.the40film.com) which made its red carpet premier on December 11, 2013 at the Pickwick Theater in Park Ridge, IL on the Vigil of the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the unborn, before 900 moviegoers. Four years later, this compelling pro-life film, produced by Pro-Life Champions, is still as relevant today as it was on opening night.

Since the world premiere of 40 in 2013, Pro-Life Champions has had many encouraging accomplishments. 40 has been described as one of the most compelling pro-life films ever produced, and we have seen with our own eyes the impact it has had.

• 40 has been screened in over 300 venues, including churches, theaters, colleges and high schools across the United States.

• 40 has received dozens of endorsements from national pro-life leaders all over the country.

• Movieguide the Family Guide to Movies and Entertainment, gave 40 an outstanding review saying 40 is “an emotionally powerful and intellectually stimulating must-see movie. ”

• Fr. Frank Hoffman (Fr. Rocky), Executive Director of Relevant Radio, says that “40 should be seen by every high school and college student in the country.”

• 40 made its national television debut in the U.S. and Canada on EWTN on Janunary 21, 2015 to coincide with the March for Life in Washington D.C. and encored on January 24, 2015, the night of the West Coast March for Life in San Francisco, CA. The film was also seen in Africa, India, and the United Kingdom. The film was also seen with its Spanish subtitles in Mexico, South America and Spain on Spanish EWTN.

• The Champions for Life Campus Tour in 2016-2017 included film screenings at the Universities of Florida, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M and Wisconsin -Green Bay, as well as Notre Dame, College of St. Marys, University of St. Francis. Seton Hall and Northwestern University. We also had speakers from the film on hand to dialogue afterwards with students.

• We provided the film at no cost to over 100 parishes in the Dioceses of Chicago, Newark, NJ, Omaha, Lincoln, Brooklyn, Miami, Joilet, Orange County, CA and Green Bay.

The 40 film is “educational, inspirational, and best of all, motivational” (Kathleen Buckley Domingo, LA Archdiocese Respect Life Coordinator.) We continue to offer the film to colleges, high schools and parishes.

We want to reach even more people with this important pro-life educational resource. Fortunately we have received a CHALLENGE GRANT TO HELP US ACHIEVE THIS GOAL! We have a challenge to raise $100,000 by June 30. We need to raise $65,000 more!

Can you help us to meet this challenge by making a monthly donation? Please consider a
monthly donation of $10 or more a month.

We NEED YOUR HELP to continue to bring this inspiring film to communities all over the United States.

Rebecca Kiessling of “Save the 1” said, “40 is destined to become the premiere film for educating youth on abortion.”

We have been at over 300 venues, many of them high schools and colleges, but we have just begun to scratch the surface.

Your support is vitally important! The educational message of “40” is more important and relevant than ever. Please donate today. And as we celebrate the Octave of Christmas, keep us in your prayers.
